"Way Behind Me" is a 1988 single by The Primitives, an indie pop band from Coventry, England. It was issued after the initial release of the album Lovely, and later included on re-issues of that album, as well as on the follow-up album Pure. It rose to #38 on the UK Singles Chart, and #8 on U.S. Modern Rock Chart.
